Who we are

Two plants, fifty-one kilometres apart.

Ningbo does the optics. Jiaxing does the adhesive, the lamination and the finishing. Splitting them was not a strategy decision — the embossing line would not fit through the door of the old building — but it turned out to be the reason we can change an adhesive without stopping the coating line.

Both plants under one quality system, one batch-number scheme, one COA format.

Master rolls slit in-house: 1,650 mm down to 50 mm, tolerance ±0.5 mm.

Every coating run keeps a 36-month retained sample, indexed by lot number.

166 staff, of whom 23 are engineers and 9 work only on compliance and testing.

Capacity

What the ovens can actually dry.

Five lines, one batch-number scheme. Nameplate figures below are annual, based on 320 operating days and three shifts.

Why capacity is quoted this way Coating capacity and converted capacity are different numbers, and suppliers routinely mix them. 12.6 M m² is what the ovens can dry. After slitting losses and off-cut, sellable output runs at 88–91% of that. We quote the nameplate figure and the yield separately so a buyer can do the arithmetic.

Laboratory

Eight instruments, and the failure each one predicts.

The lab exists to catch the failures that appear in year three. If a test cannot be tied to a field failure, we do not run it as routine.

History

How the capability was built, in the order it was needed.

Each step below was forced by a customer asking for something we could not yet make.

Company record. Dates are the month the capability went live, not the month it was announced.

2009	Ningbo Beilun. One glass-bead coating line, four domestic customers, and a hand-built tension rig that is still in the corner of the workshop.
2013	First in-house nickel microprism tool. ECE 104R approval for the conspicuity range — the first certificate that let us quote outside China.
2016	Jiaxing plant opens. Coating width goes from 1.35 m to 1.65 m, which is what made 1.22 m and 1.52 m master rolls economical.
2018	ASTM D4956 Type IV verified by a third-party laboratory at 0.2° / −4°. Same film, measured in two geometries, finally with numbers we could put in a tender.
2020	Digital-printable sheeting with an inline primer. Before this we were selling film that customers could not print on reliably — a decade-long gap in the Chinese supply base.
2022	Photoluminescent line commissioned. UL 924 listing for exit signs, ASTM E2072/E2073 testing for path marking.
2024	12.6 M m² of sheeting capacity across two plants. 62 markets, of which 19 are repeat-tender markets with an annual framework.
2026	Simultaneous two-side coating line under construction in Jiaxing. Target: +3.0 M m² and a 48-hour changeover instead of five days.

Quality system

Certificates are the floor, not the pitch.

Every reflective supplier has ISO 9001 on the wall. What separates them is what happens after a complaint: whether the retained sample from that lot still exists, whether the coating log can be pulled, and whether anyone can tell you which oven zone drifted.

Batch traceability Lot number → coating run → oven log → adhesive batch → slitting record → container number. A claim can be traced to a two-hour window on a specific line. In practice this is what shortens a dispute from six weeks to four days.
