GB/T 18833 is the Chinese standard for retroreflective sheeting, graded in Classes I to V. It measures the same physical property as ASTM and EN, on its own geometry and with its own minimum values.
That is why a Chinese quote and a European quote can differ by a class without either supplier being wrong: the class numbers are not interchangeable, and a Class IV in one scheme is not a Type IV in another.
Our report is issued by CTI (2025-01). When a tender cites GB/T and the client's acceptance test cites ASTM, we supply both documents rather than translate one into the other.
