ECE 104R covers retroreflective markings for vehicles in ECE markets, with classes A to F depending on the vehicle category and the part of the body being marked.
Conspicuity tape for heavy vehicles is Class C. The geometry and the approval mark differ from DOT-C2, and a US roll cannot be re-labelled: the mark is granted per product, per approval.
NVR-C3 holds the Class C approval, tested by TÜV (2024-09). Fleets operating on both sides of the Atlantic usually buy both rolls — we ship them with the regulation printed on each carton.
