JIS Z 9117 is the Japanese standard for retroreflective sheeting, with Classes 1 to 4 covering the range from temporary works to permanent overhead signage.
Japanese tenders usually ask for the JIS class and the report together, and the class numbering does not correspond to ASTM types — a Class 2 here is not a Type II there.
Our report is issued by JQA (2024-06). Where a Japanese customer also needs an ASTM figure for a parent company's specification, we supply both reports rather than converting one into the other.
