ISO 7591 covers retroreflective sheeting for vehicle registration plates — a different job from sign sheeting, because the plate is read by a camera at a known distance and angle rather than by a driver.
The standard sets the retroreflective performance, the durability of the plate assembly and the resistance of the sheeting to the plate-making process itself, including the embossing and the heat applied to it.
NVR-LP750 is our plate film, tested by SGS (2025-03). Plates are usually made by a licensed producer, so we supply the film with the process window rather than the finished plate.
